Now Bob Calderoni (interim CEO) is up on stage. He is thanking the partners for the help growing Citrix. This is his first Summit and some of us don’t really know him so he is introducing himself and the companies he has work with. Apple, IBM are just some examples. “Refocus on the core” is the gist of his message right now.
Foundation on great products, great people, leveraging the huge market share that Citrix has, focus on fewer core things are the recipe for future success. Focus on “secure delivery of apps and data”, it is not always about new products.
By renewing the focus on fewer things Citrix is expecting to accelerate growth, deliver more and better innovation because the investment will also be focus on the core products.

Tim is taking us through the plan for this year, “build”… How to build a strong foundation for success? How build where is Citrix being used today? In a lot of places, see some example. In 2015, 229 customers invested +1mm dollars,, 3000 net ne customers are some great number.
What is the market distribution?According to Citrix this will be an $18B market by 2018
What is the strategy? Focus on “secure app and data delivery” clear and simple

Acquiring new customers is not about selling products but helping them to solve problems, remove pain points, said Carlos.
Now Bill Burley VP of Products is up on stage. When thinking about apps we think “follow the apps”, but with 50% (and growing) of the apps being browser base, why do we need Citrix.
First announcement of the day “Browser App Service”, delivering the right browser to any device
Second announcement, platinum gets more data and tools from the Comtrade technology acquisition
Bill closes his presentation with “eliminate v-tax”, the additional cost of VMWare, with using Citrix and Nutanix together.

Mid-market has the biggest potential for 2016, Kimberly just mentioned than in 2016 Citrix professional services are going to reduce the work on mid-market accounts so that partners can execute more on this segment.
